Bench belt sander

Most intarsia people that I know use various inflatable drum sanders.  You are talking about a good bit of money, perhaps more than you are able to spend right now.  The drums are great for large even contours that you get with most intarsia. 

I think you would get the most use out of a spindle sander.  If it where me I would get the best spindle sander I could afford.

Bad thing about the hf belt sander it has no dust collection save your money ad get one you can hook to a vacum source my 2 cents
