Latest projects I have completed
« on: May 18, 2012, 09:36:21 am »
Big Full Shell was cut from a 2x4 and finished with shellac.

Cedar Box made from aromatic cedar.  The dimensions are 3 inches wide x 7 inches long x 1 ? inches deep.  The box was finished with shellac.

My SIL ordered these boxes for her coworkers.  The dimensions are 4 inches x 7 inches x 1 ? inches deep and has been flocked in a wine flocking and finished with lacquer.

Lovely work, but the shell is exceptional, you will have to explain how to make them sometime (please lol)

As I do not have a video camera I can and am making a step by step with still pictures... The shells are not hard to do they just take time to sand.  I will post the first part here very soon.

Is there a video somewhere showing how this is done?.  I could never do it but would sure like to see the creation in progress.
