Mother's Day Gift
« on: May 11, 2012, 02:39:53 pm »
Stack cut 2.  One for Mom, one for MIL.  Frames are 1/4" Mahogany with 1/8" Mahogany overlays and backings.  Danish oil bath with semigloss lacquer on top.  Pattern is from Rick Hutcheson, although turnbuttons on back are from Shiela Landry!  Difference in wood color I believe is due to age, as the wood for the overlays came from my FIL,  after he'd had it for years.  Hope you like!

Glen

Glen I see a Outstanding job on Everything.  Just wondering was them hinge screws small enough for the 1/4" wood?  Love the pattern....  Danny  :+}
