Tool gloat
« on: May 07, 2012, 12:49:23 am »
Well yesterday I stopped by an estate sale and picked up 5 handplanes for $35.  One is a Bailey 605, 2 Stanley No 5, a Stanley #5 body, and a small smoother.  The 605 is in pretty rough shape but I think I can clean off all the rust and get her to work again.  Today I got a Rockwell floor model drill press and Rockwell 14" bandsaw and a Craftsman 1hp dust collector for FREE.  Has been a good weekend.
In fact this whole week has been simply awesome.  Since I found out about getting the new jjob.  And Saturday I didnt have to work so the wife and I saw "The Avengers" and it was a really good movie.

Good things can be like bad things Chief.  Sometimes when it rains it pours!  Glad it is pouring good for you.

Shed nothing my 2 car garage is full.
I spent yesterday cleaning my garage and it is still hard to navigate.  I am looking at getting a storage unit to store stuff in.  My wife has lots of stuff stored in the garage and I have enough lumber to fill the bed of my F-150 three times.  Gotta get busy and use up some lumber.
