My grad gifts
« on: May 06, 2012, 07:07:48 pm »
I have post pictures of the 2 grad gifts I made for my niece for college and my grandson for high school. Yep I'm a proud Nanna and Aunt. Both were made with aspen for main backer, BB for the grads and pine for the base. I used a dark walnut for the stain, BLO 50/50 for the main backer and finished with a semi gloss poly. All comments here and in gallery are welcome... Thanks for looking... Sheila

Excellent cutting Sheila! The stain on the BB is excellent also. Overall a wonderful job on both pieces!

Lovely work Sheila, the stain works well, you picked the right colour.
