HOT! HOT!HOT!
« on: May 04, 2012, 01:12:45 pm »
Can't believe the heat is already here in NE Texas! 92 deg. here yesterday and summer has not even begun! Hope we don't have another drought like we had last summer, because most of my neighbors, included us, had to sell all or most of our horses and cows. The hay and feed went out of sight! We had a very good spring, and the grass and hay is plentiful right noe, but, with no rain in the next few days, the grass will be gone already. Oh well, means more scrolling time and less farm work!LOL

Sorry to hear you had to sell off some of your livestock.  Here in Tennessee we went through that a couple of years back.  price of hay was out of sight.  This year we had a very early spring........like starting Jan 31st.  Some farmers have already done their first cutting and corn is close to 8-10 inches high.  Got a good rain yesterday but it is hot today.   The weather gets stranger and stranger every year.  Sure hope things get better for you.
