Wooden Sea Shell

This is my first shell.  The concept and general instructions came out of the latest SSW&C Magazine Summer 2012 issue 47.  I used appleply from Lowes for the shell and black walnut for the ring base.  The shell was finished with beeswax paste wax.

Cherie actually making these shells so far has been relatively easy.  If you can tilt your table to the left and cut a line ( semi circle ) then you can make these shells.  The summer edition of the SSW&C edition #47 has the general instructions on how to do these.  Just practice a little bit and if you have any questions feel free to ask I will attempt  to help.
