Getting Old
« on: January 20, 2012, 12:01:51 am »
This is my neighbor.....

She's single...

She lives right across the street.

I can see her house from my family room.

I watched as she got home from work this evening.

I was surprised when she walked across the street and up my driveway.

She knocked on my door...

I rushed to open it.

She looks at me, and says, ?I just got home, and I am so lonely ! I have this strong urge to have a good time, get drunk, and make love all night long!

Are you busy tonight??

I immediately replied, ?Nope, I'm free... I have no plans at all!?

Then she said, ?Good! In that case, could you watch my dog?"

MAN... IT'S NO FUN GETTING OLD!!!

I represent that remark!
Very cute.  I interrupted my wife's tv watching to read it to her.

just was looking at your quote,

".There are two things over which you have complete authority, dominion and control: your mind and your mouth."
- Molefi Asante

I agree totally, too bad so many don't exercise either option!
I've been guilty too on occasion.

I'm guilty as well from time to time. My job helps me in this endeavor though as I deal with the general public on a continuous basis. Then again, open mouth and insert foot situations are bound to happen.
