nice pattern, but the string on the bow looks very thin to me, I would have difficulty in cutting it that thin, but then I'm still a beginner

From what I can see I think you have a few floaters that will drop out when you cut.  You need to check that the wood as a connected spot so that it won't drop out.  The string on the bow you would just run your blade part of the way up or down and then back it out and turn only when you get back to a larger part that is to be cut out.  I hope I make sense.  Thats my 5 cents.
