Drying finished crafts

Hi, my name is Andrew. My wood shop is in the basement of my house, no heat, no a/c and no windows that could open. Except for my shop, my basement is damp; high humidity is an issue. I would apply an oil finish and maybe a spray or brushed varnish/Lacquer /shellac to my crafts. The problem? They don't dry at the normal drying time. (If I know it won't rain, I'll actuall put my projects outside over night to air dry) Any Suggestions? Any ideas on a drying box; I don't need heat, just air flow.

My suggestion would be to purchase a dehumidifier. The portable ones range in price from $150 to $250 and cover rooms up to 500 square feet. I have used them before and they would work great in your situation. You can do some research about them online.

I use a sweater dring rack for all my projects.  It has 4 web shelves, they all attach to the motor part that blows over the shelves.    I think it cost about $30.
