Lee was one of the the top contenders for a long time and always had a sense of humor...One day after a a particularly tough round and Lee winning on the 18th hole by sinking a very long putt an interviewer asked Lee Trevino about the 'extreme pressure' of sinking a very long putt to win a tournament.
Lee quipped..."Hell, that's not pressure son!"..."Pressure is when you are playing with 3 guys who are bigger than you in a $1,000 Nassau (a form of golf betting) and you get to the 18th and have to sink a winning putt knowin' there's a $1,000 at stake and you only got $100 in your pocket!"
"Now son...That there is PRESSURE!"
