Now, you're out of touch, you can start small by buying your gear and tools.
I wish we had here in Mexico the purchasing power of the dollar, here it is quite expensive to buy good tools and good wood.
But you can start experimenting with MDF material in different thicknesses and then having some experience, buy good wood.
