Fairy Shelf

Made from 1/2" Sapele. Cut with Flying Dutchman UR1 and UR3 blades. Finished with a 50/50 mixture of boiled linseed oil and mineral spirits, and top coated with Deft semi gloss spray lacquer.

Hey Bob, Good to hear from you, How you doing Buddy? As for the Sapele, It is what I  call Arlen wood. Arlen is a member of our woodworkers club. He goes to local wood shops and collects scrap wood, then brings it to the monthly meetings. This is where I get about 75% of my scroll saw wood including the Sapele! Unfortunately, he has not brought wood in several months. My stock is running low. :(
