Just checking in
« on: April 06, 2011, 06:56:34 am »
Hi guys,

Spring has reached the Netherlands and I am outside quite a bit. So decided to check the forum and just let you know I am enjoying the dry weather and the sun when that is around. Mainly dry and overcast today. Am scrolling some projects, but taking that easy too at the moment been inside long enough.
Will check in every now and than can't kick the forum even if the weather calls me outside. Need to keep up.
See you round.
David

Wondered where you were, I thought you were going to do another series, then poof you were gone! I've been enjoying a little dry time too. Finished a practice pattern Bill P. sent me, it's getting easier the more I do.  ;D Raining and threatening to snow as I type. Off to dinner.

Hey David!
You've good fine weather :o My relatives in the north of Germany are complaining about cold, nasty april-weather!

But I know, the Netherlands are always a bit more on the "sunny side of life" :P

Bavaria is fine too, blue sky, 25?C and best barbecue weather!

regards
Torsten

Barbecue isn't quite the same you do it. Gas grills are very rare used in Europe, mostly charcoal grills are used. I bought myself a "Weber one-touch" 2 years ago - and I'm still fighting with it to get all the performance out of it as wanted.

the weather in Holland was great this weekend !
smoked a sausage on Saturday and did some barbecue on Sunday.  ;D
as Torsten said, BBQ on charcoal briquettes.
I use a "iron stove" BBQ

my "smoker" is home made from a trashcan. works perfect!
