Hi all.  New to this forum but I've been scrolling for several years now.  Retired navy now working in the beautfiul northwest.  I've been a fan of Steve's Blog for quite some time now.  I have cut many of his patterns as gifts for friends so keep up the good work! hehe

Welcome, I live in Mason Co and I am stationed at Bremerton.  I love it here and plan on retiring the end of this year and making WA my new home.
Where abouts are you located?  I owuld love to meet some woodworkers up here and find some good sources of wood.

I'm over in the Tri Cities area in eastern washington.  Kennewick to be specific.  I haven't done too much shopping over here for wood yet.  I mostly just get poplar and hobby plywood from the hobby stores.

A little too far from me.  I have found some good deals on CL here for walnut and teak, but its just small scraps really.  Gonna try a few Shipwrights and see what I can get there.
Welcome to the site.  Good to have another Sailor around.

Hi, glad to have some fellow navy people in the forum.  I am HMC retired for 29 years.  I live on the east coast.  I get a lot of wood from the wooden teddy bear, and rockler.  Welcome aboard.
