Hi guys,
Thanks for the support, me and Jimbo in the North Island, There is another scroller in CH-CH Brian Strong aka Magic.
Not sure if he's a member here, but I have just heard from him this morning and as far as all the contents of the cupboards all over the floor he's OK.
This one thew him to the floor, so I think he could be a little shaken (excuse the pun).

cheers for now

The quake was felt in Wellington CBD where my daughter works she is on the 4th floor of a building and said it was terrifying and the after shock was just as bad we didn't feel it where we live which is only about 4 kms as the crow flies
Thank you all for your concern and support, Australia have sent 200 specialst people to help with search and rescue and Japan has also offered specialized earthquake support as well

Over 600 people from overseas have come to help and there is more arriving every day, 149 dead with about another 50 deaths expected, it is the second big disaster for NZ the other was the Pike creak coal mine killing 29 miners who were buried alive and still down there, but this quake  has been a disaster as they were just cleaning up after the one in Sept. most NZers are going to have to pay for the repairs to the damage caused in this quake which will be a burden on some house holds
