Steve's "Be Mine" box for my valentine "wife"
« on: February 20, 2011, 10:15:51 am »
This is the first box that I have made and I did a slight modification to the lid.
I may try that flocking technique for the inside on the next box I do.

Good job!!  I'm sure she loved it, even if you didn't leave the cash in it! ;D

ha-ha, to be truthful, if you look at it close, you can see the edge of the money that is in it.  :D

That's what I was referring to! :D  Even though my wife loved the heart box I made for her, she would have loved it even more if there had been cash in it!  ;)

Excellent job on that box Bruce.  I am sure she really enjoyed it.

Flocking is relatively easy to do but you do have to take care to keep track of where the paint / glue is at all times and have an area to capture the flock that misses the box (and there will be some ) so that you can recapture it for reuse.
