I know a while ago Steve listed sites to buy clock inserts but I can't find it again. I am looking to buy 2 1/4 inch clock inserts that run on AAA batteries.

I have gotten a clock that uses AAA batteries from Michales or JoAnn Crafts. I don't remember what size it was, and it was between $12-$20.

Michael's usually has only one or two styles and they are way overpriced.
Have not looked at Joann's.

One other source for clock inserts is http://www.woodworkingparts.com/
They run around $7 and all in this size range use "N" size batteries.

I do alot of mini-clocks. I get all mine from wildwood designs out of Janesville Wis. I've had good luck with them. And really great service, too!

And the Winner is.......  http://www.woodworkingparts.com/

They beat the price by $2.00 ea. and had a good selection.  I bit the bullet and opted for the N battery.
Now we will see how the service is.
