I would like to try my hand at clock building does anyone know of a place for a cheap pattern i would like to see if i can do it before i spend alot of money on one
 ;D

Are you talking about building a clock or a pattern with a clock in it? As Dan said Steve has patterns that you can put in an insert of a clock.  :)

If your talking about a wooden gear clock, the latest issue of Scroll Saw Woodworking & Crafts has a nice one that's free with the issue.  $6.99 newsstand price.  Not gonna find much cheaper!  :D
