Notice the 'ring' around the top just under the cap.
This makes for a perfect 'resting place' for the tube to hang through the hole I have drilled in the plywood table I have on my 788.
I drilled two holes so I can keep the two blades I am currently using just to the right of my saw for easy quick access.
Not 'cheap' but darn sturdy! I have dropped them, kicked them and even stepped on them and they don't break.
The screw on tops are much more 'finger friendly' for me than those on the tubes from Sloan's and other suppliers.
These are actually real plastic soda bottle 'blanks' before they are heated and 'injection molded' into 2 liter soda bottles!

Those are great looking tubes for blades.  Do the blades hit the top or is there enough jiggle room?  Good labeling too.

YES...there is a little 'jiggle' room...about 1/2"...Have not tried it but I think they would hold a GROSS of blades easily with no problem!
And as stated..."These suckers are STRONG"!

I would not call it "spill proof"! Maybe "spill resistant"!

I have dropped one without the cap and you would be amazed how the blades wiggle out all over the sawdust covered floor!
That plastic tube bounces just like a football (American style) when it hits the concrete!
Thank the Lord for my telescoping magnet! Didn't even get off the stool!

Very nice GB.  I am enclosing a photo of the blade storage rack Jaun made me.  It also holds all my Dremel needs and drum sanders.

My Dremel stuff is all in its neat little boxes in a nearby drawer.

They have come down in price!
When I got mine about 2 1/2 years ago I remember paying about 90 cents each for a dozen of them!
I also use them for such things as small hangers, Xacto blades, screw eyes and other small parts.

How do you use 2 blades at once?

I keep my 'spirals' that I use for portraits and a small 'flat' for cutting large sections or the 'outline' of portraits.
I prefer the flat blade to go around the outside as opposed to all the sanding required when you use a spiral on the outer edge.

I just have a place for two tubes drilled for convenience!
Usually have 2/0 spirals and #3 or #5 Polar in the holders.

Only used two blades at once when i had two saws...
