Grand ma and grand pa for the forth time
« on: December 16, 2010, 07:10:56 pm »
As of 2 something this morning, little Cathy joined the rest of the world.  He weighed a little over 5 pounds and was 18 inches long.  This is more than we expected.  The doc was going to induce labor Friday, but it looks like that all changed.  Cathy couldn't have picked a better night to be born.
Don't think I am wrong for saying this, but the weather this was so bad, that there were many cars and big semis off the roads an in ditches, myself included.  However, Cathy's father, (my son) made it up there safely and in time for her performance.
She will be able to go home anywhere from 1 to 3 weeks.  That is until she learns how to eat without the tubes.
Thanks everyone for all the prayers in their situation.  I am sad that I missed it, but I was in the process of moving back home.  We have no heat, except for the one heater in the bedroom, but I am finding that candles warm the house nicely and gives it an ambiance.  I am much calmer than I was before.
My cat is not.  He is not eating or doing much of anything else.  Guess I will keep prayin for him.
Have a great weekend all.  I might hit the saw.  Who knows.

It just seems strange to me to be calling a 'kid' GrandMa but I wish you well and hope everything gets better.
babies have a way of stirring things up and also calming them down.
don't despair....

I never really wanted to grow up....All I wanted was to be able to reach the cookie jar...and play with my DW 788
