One suggestion from the 'photography' aspect.

Try the same setup with a light on the front, NOT the flash. Just a table lamp will add enough light to the front to make it easier to see the actual 'scroll work'.

I use photo bucket for my project photos. They all work about the same. Glad you are figuring it out. I agree you need to add a little light to the front when taking a photo.

The pattern is by Ardold Volker now handled by his son in law Kyle Sheffer at www.woodyoubelieveshop.com in the USA I saw a picture of this design in a Patrick Spielman book called 300 Christian & Inspirational patterns. I sent a picture of it to Kyle and he posted me the pattern at very reasonable cost. Very glad you liked it.
