I have  used www.sloanswoodshop.com for several years, great people to deal with and always good wood. They're in TN.

Greg has it right! sloans is the best! Also if you have a Woodcraft store near by, they have BB also.

I tried a couple 'other places' and I am back to getting mine from Sloan's also!

Every piece I have gotten from them has been virtually 'clear' on both sides!

And their shipping from Tennessee to my home in Missouri is very timely.

Prices are as competitive as you will find...

I never really wanted to grow up....All I wanted was to be able to reach the cookie jar...and play with my DW 788

A local plywood supplier should have it. Also Rockler or Woodcraft and Michaels Craft stores, sell BB plywood. Your local plywood supplier is the cheapest.

I don't know what it it really intended for.  they tell me it comes from Russia and that is the size it comes in.  there are two different grades.  One is finished on both sides and one has plugs in the backide so you have to watch it.

i have been around construction work most of my life and have always seen 4x8 sheets of plywood.
i did run into some 1 inch thick plywood once, sure was heavy. i just wondered what 5x5 sheets were made for.

Termite, Baltic birch comes from Russia in 5'x5' sheets. They are not meant for the construction trade, but rather for the woodworking trades.

i believe the 5' x 5' sheets are use for underlayment therefore should not have any voids.
we have an underlayment in 1/4" that look like mahogany but it is someother wood.  it cuts and paints
up really nice but not much good for clearcoating.

I can't see using 1/8" BB for underlayment!
