"Heritage' plywood update...
« on: October 21, 2010, 11:02:17 am »
I got my order and am glad I only ordered 8 sheets of 1/8" for ornaments!
It definitely does not compare with the BB from Sloans! It is also NOT totally clear on one side!
I have not called them yet but intend to do so today. Will keep you all posted.

The p/wood seems to be birch but my guess is it is intended more for cabinet and drawer use.

I never really wanted to grow up....All I wanted was to be able to reach the cookie jar...and play with my DW 788

They sent me a sample with my last order of wood.  Although I'm a fan of Heritage, the sample of BB wasn't as good as what I get from a local source.

That is good information to have.  I have heard they are okay for hardwoods but don't carry very good ply.  Nice to have first hand feedback.

Thanks for the info GB. I have ordered 12" wide boards from them and was very pleased.
The last BB I purchased was from Woodcraft. 12x12 for $1.50 minus my 15% discount. It's actually pretty good quality!
