Party Tray
« on: October 20, 2010, 12:15:45 am »
Created this from a 9 in circle of 1 in. poplar that was a leftover from a bowl I made.  The tray sections are held together with 1/8 in rare earth magnets.  The top is a compound cut Donkey / Elephant -  Hence the Party Tray :)
The dowel is 1 inch.

Yes,  I did it on the fly so to speak ... saw the wood and saw what it wanted to be .. drew the pattern on wood cut it, glued it and that was the result.  Will have to see if I can make up the pattern on my comp.
