Hey Dave instead of recycling the mags, how about donating to your local high school woodworking class (do they have these anymore?) or local library.

Early on I bought any book and magazine I could find. I still have all the books. I will lend them out to Friends and to club members. I save all the scroll saw magazines and periodically look through them for ideas. Any magazines I don't want, I take them to the monthly woodworking club meeting, they all disappear!
