Hope to change the sanding disk

The one that came on it is stuck on there pretty good. Is there a trick to getting it off or do you just stick the new one on top of it?

You will have to get the old one off. Just start on the edge and work with it to get a small piece loose. I take a blunt object like a butter knife and work in behind it while pulling with even pressure. Be careful not to damage the sanders permanent backing or pull it loose. Time and patients is required, oh and two hands.  8)

You have to take the old one off.  Try a putty knife or something blunt and flat like that.  If it just wont budge, give it a spritz with WD40 and work it off a little at a time.  Make sure to clean off the WD40 or the new one won't want to stick.

Janet, Use a blow dryer and warm it up good.  It will come off a lot easier.

Hey Janet, Judy has it right! I use a heat gun but a hair dryer will work just as fine!
