Son in law Saturday
« on: September 20, 2010, 01:59:43 am »
Saturday was a great day.  My son in law came over just to play in my woodshop with me.  We cut out some name ornaments and I have to admit is was great.  We were sitting shoulder to shoulder each at a scrollsaw just cutting ornaments, jamming to some music and talking.  I am trying to get him hooked on this.  I see it happening slowly, the bad thing is they live 100 miles away and it is a 2 hour trip.  They live in a small apartment and do not have the room for a saw.  I have 2 and tried giving him one to take home with him but my daughter quickly pointed out they do not have the room.
We were to busy cutting and talking to take any pictures.  Maybe next time.

Sounds like you both had fun. My sons join me every once in awhile. Right now I am teaching my eleven year old grand daughter.  8)

Saying a friend past along to me:
God only allows a man a certain amount of time on earth.  Time spent with his grandchildren doesn't count against him.

Your reply Russ reminded me of it. ;)

That's great, tinker.  I will have to jot that one down.
