jewlers blades

I am looking for a blade thin enough to cut coins in half to make the folding coin trick. I have seen the olson metal cutting blades. Are these the same as jewlers blades.I also need to be able to cut into the edge aprox. 1mm.

I'd probably cut my finger trying to do that.  Oddly enough though I've never cut myself on the scroll saw.  I have many times with kitchen knives though... I'm a mess in the kitchen... I call hands "Frankenfingers".  hehehe.

As a long time member of the 'kitchen fraternity' I work with knives that are not sharp UNLESS I can shave the hair on my forearm with them.

Show them the same respect and treat them with the same love that you do your power tools and they will never hurt you.

Get sloppy, don't treat them right and they will BITE hard and deep.
