3D Patterns

I got my hands on a copy of a 3D pattern book and made a few of the things that are in it. They are very delicate and I have room to improve but I found them interesting and fun to do. Here is a link to the book on Amazon.

If you like that one, also try 128 compound scroll saw patterns by Sam Keener.  The cool thing about his patterns is when you turn them 1/4 turn - they become something else.  For example, I cut a saxaphone and when you turn in 1/4 around, it becomes a treble clef.  They are really neat.  I like the tutorial in the book you have better.

I've seen the book you are talking about. It looks a little complicated for my experience level. It is definitely something I will want to try in the future after I learn a little more.

Looks are deceiving Emac.  I got both of these books when I first started scrolling.  I put both of them aside because it looked complicated.  If you can do the ones in 3d patterns for the scroll saw you can do the others.  They are no harder.  Just take your time.
