Steve, Since we can't reply to your post in Bulletins and News on the forum speed I will reply here. We appreciate you efforts in solving the problem with shared space.
I know it is expensive to pay for  dedicated space. With that in mind I think I speak for many here that we could put up with a little advertising to help with that expense. Most other forums I visit have advertising to pay for their site, so I see no problem with that happening here!

Thanks to Steve for taking the time and enduring the pain to try and solve a problem we created by being so ACTIVE!
I am willing to bet my whole allowance that neither Steve nor the Hosting source had any idea this forum would take off like it has!!!

As far as having advertising I certainly have no objection as long as they are 'static' adverts and not something we would have 'click' through to get to the posts or make replies.

Steve could certainly open the forum up to potential advertisers and they could see the number of hits the forum gets in a month and the number of times we all mention such things as Ocooch, WoodCraft, the various magazines, pattern sites, etc.

It would, I am sure, take some 'revamping' of the forum layout that would require  more time and effort from Steve, not to mention the pain and anguish which he certainly doesn't need right now!

It has been stated by most that we are sure not going to jump ship just because of some 'slowdown' in the server so.....

Take Your TIME, Steve!!!!! we are with you for the long haul........

If you need to put advertisements on here...go for it!  Never know what cool links a person might be turned on to with a little ad.  This forum, the blog, everything is great and thanks for the work it takes to keep it all running.
