Glueing small parts together

Hello all! I am making the tiny little candle holder churches by Steve good and I’m having trouble holding the two corners together like the wall and the front piece in the wall in the back piece. What’s the best way to hold them in place and keep the perfect 90° angle?

One way to do it is to have a small block of wood in the back of the two pieces to hold it while the glue sets up. The block of wood would be 90 degrees and you could clamp the two pieces to it while the glue dries. I would place wax paper between the block and the pieces so glue doesn't stick to the block.

I buy short
aluminum
angle irons from Mennards Then cut them into 1 1/2 inch pieces (hacksaw or side winder) when needing to glue square things together, I place one of the angles on each corner then tightly put a rubber band or two around.

Good suggestions from KarlB and Judy Hunter. That's years of experience providing a helping hand to those not there yet. Thank you both. Regards > GLC in Cypress, Texas
