Schwibbogen pattern
« on: October 30, 2017, 11:32:18 am »
My in-laws are going to be visiting for Christmas from Germany  and I would like to make them a Schwibbogen to take back with them. Does anyone know where I can find a pattern(s)? The link below is to Pinterest to give you an idea of what a Schwibbogen looks like.

That's a nice thought, but those things are very delicate and would be  cumbersome to try and take on a plane, or expensive to send.  Also, they are so readily available in Germany that if they like them, they probably already have one.

Have you thought about something more portable, like ornaments in German style?  Volker Arnold has lots of them, and they are sold in the US by Kyle Sheffer.  If you just Google Volker Arnold, they will come up.

Good luck, and hope you have a great visit.
