Lovely work!  before i had to retire due to health probs I was a Pro Chocolate designer for all the worlds chocolate companies (like Nestle/Cadbury/Terrys/Hershey etc) and I spent many an happy hour working on designs for Disney and once had to change a Milky Bar Kid bar design because he looked like Mary Sees which I didn't know was an American company with a Grannie for a logo? ooooooopps
Loved the job but wheni left the company lasted 2 years and then had to close after 70yrs because they didn't have a qualified designer 8-( .
Sorry for the ramble but once i get talking about my work I tend to drift away to happier times lol

I was wondering about the coloring, did you paint or stain or something else. I've always wondered how to get the color whole allowing the grain to show thru.
