I haven't done the other yet as I'm trying to finish up another project however, I need a pattern for this pic too.
I dl gimp to give it a try but didn't have time yet. Much appreciated!

How thick was your top piece?

both pieces are 1/4" maple ply and walnut mdf.

Great looking pattern. I've been doing a lot of portraits to. Mine are all 8x10 framed. You might want to try and put a piece of black felt behind that instead of the walnut and see how that looks for you and then in a frame. Just a thought.

Thanks rdatelle, I usually do put black felt behind it. just didn't have any with me at time of picture. Only had walnut avail. :)
