Hello,

My name Is Bill. We live in Arizona. I have 4 boys ranging from 10 to 21. Matt, Adam, Dakota and Mike. I have tons of hours in the wood shop .. unfortunately it was over 25 years ago. I am pre op for back sugary but I want to teach and work with my sons. I am new to scroll saws however, and I will use all the help I can get. We have completed a couple projects including all of Steve's Christmas ornaments from 2013. We gave them out for Christmas presents and everyone loved them!

Take care, Thanks for having us,

Bill

Hi Bill and welcome to the forum.  I'm Julie from Texas.  Glad to have you.  Hope your back surgery goes well.  It's funny, my kids were never really interested in my woodworking when they were young, but now, they are in the shop learning to make things.  My daughter is 29 and is currently making a display case for her husband to hold both his service coins and antique badges.  The fun part is my grandkids are very interested (age 3 and 6)  and are constantly in the shop learning.

Welcome I just made a similar reply to another longtime wood worker . The scroll is a quick fix you can complete a project in a short time but it does take practice but scrap wood and blades are cheap.
