this one is made from pine with torch burns. it holds a 3" clock

OMG!!!  I really like how that turned out with the burns.  Awesome job, you ought to be proud to display that.

a great job I do a bit of burning on some of my bowls it hides some of the defects in the wood then I give it several coats of oil

Great work, my daughter would love that. I like the burnt look to it as well. I want to try something with that effect myself.
