I have been reading Steve's emails for several months now and watching his scrollsaw school videos. I finally purchased a scrollsaw. My 16" Excalibur comes in on Wednesday. I'm so excited! Can't wait to get started. Don't know where to start yet, but that's what I am going to research today.

Thank you. I didn't buy the stand. I am short-5'1", so I am going to make a stand for it.

Thank you all for the warm welcomes, I am ready to browse the site. I downloaded the manual for my saw yesterday. Today, I am going to research masks, and simple beginner cutting patterns.
Thanks

Hi Marg,
I like your tag line! do you stand or sit when you scroll? And my saw didn't come in last week. It will be here this Wednesday-so they say!
I'm trying to decide if I want to make a stationary stand, buy some adjustable legs from IKEA, or what right now. Thanks!
