Eastwood Pattern

I know that Charles Dearing has some Eastwood patterns.

Now, that is a great pattern!  As a novice, I want to ask, why the red patterns?  I see that often.  What is the advantage? 

Can I "steal" you pattern also, to add to my collection of "someday" patterns?

the reason for the red is that when printed, many scrollers find that they can see the black blade better when its cutting through the red line, the light grey is to indicate the sections to be cut out. HTH

Hi, here is another one of Clints pattern,he is liked a lot around  in my part of the world and one of my favorite actors.
