Does anyone know if web.com and webs.com are the same websites, just curious. edward

The addresses are different so they normally would point to two different web sites. 

Having said that, both addresses could both point to the same web site, much the way a buidling could have an entrance on the main street and another on a side street.

They are different.  Information is below.  If you need to check something like this go to: http://who.is/ and input the domain name such as (without quotes) webs.com .  If the information is public it will show you who owns it.  Hope this helps.
