First show of the season
« on: April 04, 2014, 08:08:19 pm »
Tomorrow the misses and I will go to our first craft fair of the year. There will be about 60 vendors, we will be the only woodworking display. Wish us luck, I need to buy supplies soon and $$$$$ are tight right now. I will let you know how it went tomorrow night. ;)

update. well we are home and after a day of standing, talking, and trying not to be in the way, when the final count was done we were+ 8.00.  We had a terrible space and told the promoter we would not be back if our placement did not change. Table cost was $40.00 for a 5 foot table with no way to set up my rack to display my framed pieces. Disgusted in Newfoundland.

That is too bad.  Better luck next time and I certainly would not go back.

That is very upsetting I know. Something like that happened to me a few years ago.  Bad location and not much room.  They would not change anything and I have not been back there since.
Better luck next time

A new day, a new perspective. You cannot afford the time to live in the past. But learn from it and move on. I am going to explore new venues to promote my wares.thanks all for your comments, I have been there before and no doubt will be. There again. ;D
