You folks back east have sure had your share this winter.  Snowing here today in Western Montana but not going to stick.  Hope you are able to stay safe.

Stay safe and warm Todd, at least you have a little time to prepare.

Here in Oregon we have had very little snow.  Cold but no snow.  A local Ski Resort didn't even open this year.  We may have a little rain this week but not a high possibility.  Needles to say we need it.  If we don't have rain in the winter we have fires in the summer.  :(:(

Looks like a real doozy.  I had to get out my calculator to convert centimeters to inches (I cannot do math in my head to save my life).  Turns out 40-50 centimeters is a heck of a lot of inches too.  Be sure and get to the store to buy up all the eggs, bread and milk you can.  Can't have snow without French toast, apparently.  At least not around here (Midwest U.S.).   ::)

Seriously though, stay safe.

It is 8:30pm here now. The storm struck with a vengeance at about 7:00 in this part of the province. Winds are expected to top out at over 120 km tonight. Good thing I went to the shed. The door had blown open and in only 30 minutes there was 6-8 inches of snow inside. Got it secured I think. Desperately cold, whiteout conditions very high winds. I am not going out anymore tonight. Todd and Travis and going to get the worst of it. Good luck guys.

Un eventful night. Wind died off. At 3:00am it was beautiful outside. Sunny this morning, I guess I will have to go to work now! @&$&@. Just joking, i have a great job. If it were not for the students, teaching would be the perfect job. ;D.
