Cut from 3/8 appleply then stained with a water based walnut stain which raided the grain a bit so I lightly sanded it then finished with shellac.

Looks great,I like the way you managed to "fade" the stain.

At first look I actually thought you had problems with using STAIN.  Been there, but giving the Plaque another few thoughts I say it looks OUTSTANDING.  Great affects you got there.
I LIKE the saying.  Very Meaningful....  Can I use it?  Great Design and well cut....Danny  :+}
