Steves Gumball Machine

Here's my variation of the gumball machine with a few changes. The hardest part was cutting the 30 degree angle for the candy catch on the lowest piece. Made from Alder with English Chestnut stain.

Pete, that looks really great. I made one of these over the summer but the wheel on mine doesn't want to spin all the way around. At what angle did you but the taper for the gumball hole and did you cut it wider at the top or wider at the bottom?

I didn't really taper it, just ran a small round over bit in the hole. I think it would work best with a larger candy that is the size of the hole in the wheel so another one doesn't try to fall causing it to bind.
