How do you cut portraits and where do you
Start as I'm very intrestted in doing one many thanks Shaun

Hi, Shaun,
You may have gotten more replies if you posted to General Scroll Saw Talk.
I am not Steve but, I'll try to give you some basic info on cutting portraits.
Most of the scrollers begin in the center and work out so they don't cause damage to
the areas they already cut as they progress.
Some patterns are easier to cut by cutting the most delicate areas first so that there
is still a lot of surrounding wood for support as you cut.
Also along those lines, if some areas are delicate and you have concerns that they may
get broken before you finish the project, you can tape the areas you cut out back into
their original position to support that area.
