jigsaw pattern

Some time ago I saw a pattern for a puzzle that was done on plain wood, no picture involved.

The puzzle was formed of a pieces shaped like seagulls with wings spread.

That was the only shape of piece and they all linked together to make the puzzle. As I remember it there was no rectangular frame, the outside was free-form. Each bird had a small bead inlaid for the eye.

I didn't save a copy of it at the time. Big mistake.

But possibly it was on a site where the artist was just showing work for sale, not selling patterns.

Does this ring any bells?

Any direction to find this pattern or a source for this pattern would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for any help.

Randy

not sure if this is what you mean? I have it saved as you see it, but honestly can't remember how or where I found it, as I often find things when I am roaming around in images, and then can't find them again!

Thanks for your reply.

I know exactly what you mean about not being able to find something again.

This is similar in design to what I'd seen but not the exact thing. The only way I can describe what I had seen is that all the pieces are birds.

However with your permission I'll keep a copy of this pattern. It may suit if I can't find the other.

Did you mean one of the MC Escher patterns?

Martin.
