Swirl Basket
« on: December 29, 2013, 12:16:52 am »
Cut from Pine, Red Cedar and Poplar.  This basket is 8in. in diameter.  Finished with several coats of clear shellac.  The disk in the center is a slice of a 1 ? in. poplar dowel.

that's a good looking basket. Is it cut from 1/2" lumber?

Actually it started as 3/8 in but ended up at 5/16 in. actually a little less than that after sanding.
