In a real jam
« on: December 18, 2013, 04:00:56 am »
Hi everyone. I really need some help. I promised my nephew I would help him make a jewelry box for his girlfriend for Christmas...so far so good. my problem is that I am not very program literate. I tried to make my own in both paint and in ink scape and failed. What I need is a simple rose pattern with 2 hearts....he wants the hearts joined together and the stem of the rose coming up from between the t hearts. No leaves or thorns just the rose and stem. I tried both inkscape and paint and got no where. there's got to be an easier way to do this. I think I can resize ok but it needs to be 4 1/2 by 4 1/2 inches.

Hi , here is my attempt at your request. I am not sure of the size of the heart you had requested.
Compliments of the Season.
I hope you like it.

Nice one Mahendra.

Steve had a nice rose that I used on a gift box top. It is one of several patterns in this design:

On my box I painted the backer red and green to match the cutting:
