An Order of a Portrait with Inlay Frame
« on: November 15, 2013, 04:14:56 pm »
This is a portrait that was requested to be done sometime before Christmas and I got it done. The wood is maple for the portrait and inlay, and walnut for the frame. I used a simple black card stock for the back shadow. I had requested this pattern a while back and many of you gave me some nice patterns to work with. The customer chose Ray Hayes' pattern, so thank you for making a nice pattern to cut from.

That frame is really nice Dustin, the portrait is good too but I really like that frame.

Thanks all, and yeah I like the frame too. This order was requested because of the way the portrait of Dylan and I came out and the frame on it.  I wish I would have used maple instead of cherry on that one though because maple contrasts better.
