I'm Back!
« on: October 31, 2013, 04:44:39 pm »
Now, that is scary on Halloween.  :o ;D
Haven't put any pictures in the gallery since spending the summer in a care center. Am on my feet again and will try to catch up with things made just before and lately. Have missed you all.

Welcome back Pat, glad you are feeling better. That mirror is fantastic, is it your own design?

Keefie, Guess I forgot to say the pattern is from Pedro at finescrollsaw.com. I used maple, padauk, and walnut. Used Deft gloss on the Padauk, semi on the rest. Seemed more oriental to be shiny. May have said all that in the gallery.
And thanks to all for the kind words; it is so good to be back to scrolling. Have to still work hard to get moving well again, but am trying.

Greetings Pat, your mirror is lovely!  I really like the contrast and relief it presents.  Thanks for sharing with us, and a pleasure to "meet" you.

That is just a beautiful piece of work. I lived in Japan for 2 years. This work of yours would be appreciated by many. Is this a pattern you made or did you get it somewhere. Thank you for sharing.
